Our story

The Centre for Behaviour Solutions was set up in 2012 by Dr Corinna Grindle and Dr Freddy Jackson Brown with the aim of providing high quality child development services and support for children and their families.

Our mission is to help children and young people with learning disabilities and/or autism learn the skills they need to live life to the full. To achieve these ends we use the most up to date, evidence based models.

We believe

  • that everyone is an individual with a history, hopes and rights
  • that everyone is part of a wider community of family, friends and peers

  • that everyone can influence their circumstances in meaningful ways

  • that everyone should be treated with dignity and understanding

  • that everyone has relationships and contexts that impact their quality of life.

We aim

  • to ensure people are safe and feel secure

  • to advocate for equality, fairness, diversity and choice

  • to support the right of every individual to beneficial help and support irrespective of intellectual ability, age, culture, gender, sexuality, or other background

  • to work in the best interests of individuals and their families and carers

  • to promote inclusion, social participation and improved quality of life.
